About Ms. Penn

This is my 6th year teaching, 5th year at Lincoln High. This year I teach Geometry and Accelerated Algebra 2.  Previously, I taught one year at Patrick Henry Middle School teaching 6th, 7th, and 8th grade math.  I earned my Education Degree in Mathematics at the University of Nebraska - Omaha.  (GO MAVS!)  I love working with my student to help them grow, not only in mathematics but as a person, too.

I spent several summers as a camp counselor and program director at a camp in the Black Hills, leading activities like kayaking, biking, hiking, and service projects.  The summer of 2015, I had the opportunity to travel throughout England, Wales, Ireland, Northern Ireland, and Scotland.  It is so beautiful and great to explore the history of the region.

When I am not teaching I spend my time...

• hanging out with my family, especially my 2 nieces!
• fixing up my first home
• hunting in antique shops and flea markets for my next re-purporsing project
• helping with youth group activities at my church, including a dinner theater
• taking photography
